The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana.
The purpose of this Hearing is to conduct a Public Hearing on Petition #04-14-PLN filed by B. Doriot & Associates, Inc. P.O. Box 465 New Paris, IN 46553 for Lotus and Carol Adams, 457 E. Hudson Street Nappanee, IN 46550. The petitioners are requesting a Preliminary Plat approval for a 2 lot subdivision to be known as Adams Subdivision. The subdivision is located at 457 E. Hudson Street Nappanee, IN 46550
Legal Description of Property: A part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4 ) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Thirty-one (31), Township Thirty-five (35) North, Range Five (5) East, and more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point thirty-two and one-half (32 1/2) rods East of the Southwest corner of the above Section 31 named, and running thence East eleven and one –ninth (11 1/9) rods for a starting point; thence running North eighteen (18) rods; thence East thirty-six and one-half (36 1/2) rods to the Quarter Section line; thence South on said Quarter Section line eighteen (18) rods to the South section line; thence West to the point of beginning.
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
