NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
    Notice is hereby given to the Citizens of the Civil City of Nappanee, Elkhart County and Kosciusko County, State of Indiana, that the Common Council of the Civil City of Nappanee, at it’s regular session scheduled at 7:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2014 in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana, will hold a Public Hearing on Ordinance No. 1488 to annex contiguous real estate into the corporate boundaries of the City of Nappanee, Indiana.
    The Public Hearing will be for Ordinance No. 1493, an Ordinance annexing certain contiguous territory to the City of Nappanee, Indiana and declaring the same to be a part of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, and prescribing the zoning and land use therefore, this petition being filed by Elmer L and Diana K. Yoder, 26220 CR 7 for annexation of 2.74 acres, more or less existing on CR 54.  The real estate is more particularly described as follows:
    EXHIBIT A - REAL ESTATE
    Legal Description – Elmer L and Diana K Yoder, 26220 CR 54
    A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Thirty-five (35) North, Range Five (5) East, more particularly described as follows:
    Commencing at the Northeast corner of said quarter (1/4) section; thence West One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-two (1,332) feet to the point of beginning; thence South Four Hundred (400) feet to an iron pipe; thence East Three Hundred (300) feet to an iron pipe; thence North Four (400) free to an iron pipe; thence West Three Hundred (300) feet to the place of beginning, and containing 2.74 acres, more or less.
    Ordinance No. 1493 will be considered on second reading at this meeting and citizens will be given the opportunity to speak during the Public Hearing.  A more detailed explanation of the Ordinance, a detailed summary of the fiscal plan and policy for provision of services to an annexed area, and a more detailed plan for zoning and land use may be reviewed at the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana 46550, weekdays from 8:00 o’clock a.m. to 5:00 o’clock p.m.
