Naomi Helen Nine, 87, Warsaw, died at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 19, 2011, in her daughter's residence.

She was born April 12, 1923, in Kosciusko County, to Ora and Myra Louise Hartman Tenney. She married Hurless Norman Nine, who died in 1966.

She has lived in Greenville, Mich., and Fort Wayne, moving back to Warsaw in the 1950s. She was an office manager at Schrader Automotive, retiring in 1985. She loved rescuing animals.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa (and spouse Chris) Mahan, Warsaw; two half sisters, Arna Dilley, Greenville, Mich., and Gwen Martin, Coloma, Mich.; a half brother, Bruce Tenney, South Carolina; a grandchild, Gabe Nichols, Warsaw; two step-grandchildren, Stephen and David Mahan, both of Chicago, Ill.; two nephews; a niece; and many great-nieces- and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard Henderson and Merritt "Gene" Tenney.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton- Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Chris Mahan officiating. Burial will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
