HUNTINGTON - N. Arietta Hubartt, 97, of Huntington, died at 2 p.m. Dec. 5, 2008, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

She was born May 24, 1911, in Huntington, to William L. and Martha M. Weber DeWitt. On May 26, 1949, in Kokomo, she married Ralph E. Hubartt, who died March 26, 1991.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Schachts Rubber, Huntington, for 20 years. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1929.

Surviving are cousins Martha Burnau and Gary and Marthene Burnau, all of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a son.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington, and at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Strauss Center of Peabody Retirement Community with the Rev. Sue Babovec officiating both times. No calling is planned.
