MPL Offers New Story

MILFORD - This week's dial-a-story at the Milford Public Library will change Wednesday to "The Old Woman and Her Pig." Call 574-658-9540 to hear the story.

The Library will be closed Monday for Memorial Day. Join the library staff at the Milford Parade at 10 a.m. and "Get a Clue" about the library's Summer Reading Clubs.

A committee has been formed to plan events for the library's 100th birthday. The next meeting will be May 29 at 5 p.m. in the library meeting room.

The first special event for the Summer Reading Clubs, "Get a Clue @ Your Library" and "YNK - You Never Know @ Your Library" will be June 4 at 4 p.m. in the Milford Community Building. It will feature Campfire Kev in "I Spy ..."

Patrons may sign-up for the Summer Reading Clubs before and after the show.

"Get a Clue @ Your Library" club is for birth through students going into the fifth grade. Students going into sixth grade through high school will be in "YNK-You Never Know @ Your Library" Club.

Summer Preschool Story Time will be on Fridays at 10 a.m. June 15 through July 20. This year's theme is mysterious forms of transportation. Sign-up will begin on June 4 Call 574-658-4312 for more information.
