Motorcycle Ride Planned To Benefit VFW National Home For Children

A motorcycle ride with kid-friendly stops has been planned for June to raise funds for Veterans of Foreign Wars National Home for Children.
The ride is June 29 and is being sponsored by Marine Riders of Michiana in conjunction with Young Tiger Football.
The fee is $20 per rider and $5 per passenger with registration at 1 p.m. and the ride kicking off at 3 p.m.
The ride will be escorted by the Marine Riders of Michiana and T-shirts are available for the first 50 who register.
A June Family Jam event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fribley Field, 425 E. Market St., Warsaw.
Entry is $5 per family of four and $1 for each additional member.
There will be a bouncy house and dunk tank, camouflage face painting, United States Marine Corps young recruits, music, cornhole, games and contests, food to be purchased, and a USMC mock obstacle course.
A presentation of colors will be at noon in memory of Lance Corporal David Fribley who was killed in combat in Iraq on Sunday, March 23, 2003.
