SYRACUSE – Morris W. “Morrie” Wolferman, 77, of Milford, died at 4:30 a.m. Sept. 20, 2012, in The Maples Nursing Home, Goshen.

He was born July 25, 1935, in Milford, to John W. and Ruth Blough Wolferman.

He graduated in 1953 from Milford High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a lifetime area resident except two years while in the service. He retired as a foreman from Johnson Controls, Goshen, after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Milford, and formerly attended Bethel Church of the Brethren, Milford.

Surviving are a sister, Mary Vanlaningham, Milford; and a brother, Robert “Bob” (and spouse Joyce) Wolferman, Milford. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Michael Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.

Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
