Theresa and Richard Montgomery announce the engagement of their daughter, Abbi L., to John G. Mock, son of Debra and Terry Thompson and John D. Mock.

The bride-to-be is is a technology education teacher and an introduction to engineering design teacher at Marion High School. She is a 1997 graduate of Blackford High School, Hartford City; received her bachelor's degree in Japanese and technology education from Ball State University in 2002; received her master's degree in manufacturing technology and construction management in 2004 from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo.; and received her introduction to engineering design certification from Project Lead the Way from Purdue University, Kokomo, in 2006.

The groom-elect is a plant supervisor at Sweetlix, a division of Ridley Inc., Syracuse. He is a 1999 graduate of Wawasee High School and received his associate's degree in computer-aided drafting at ITT Tech.

The couple plan a June 29 wedding.
