Edwin and Arlene Mitschelen, Warsaw, will mark their 40th wedding anniversary July 12. Edwin Mitschelen and Arlene VanRees were married July 12, 1967, at the First Presbyterian Church in Edinburg, Texas.

Both are retired teachers.

The couple have four children: Bruce (and wife Sammy) Mitschelen, Mrs. Bill (Laura) Hartley, Mrs. Phillip (Susan) Diaz, and Charlene Mitschelen. They have six grandchildren.
