Misrepresented

The reason I keep responding, Eppenbaugh person, is because you continue to misrepresent me and my opinions in a public forum. I also expect you to hold yourself to the same standard as everyone else and give a cogent response to questions on which I'm still waiting for answers. I know the Times-Union's policy on First Amendment rights. I asked for your opinion and to square that with prior statements.
If you feel threatened by a 10-year-old that steps into your yard, then perhaps your paranoia has made you delusional. Defending one's life and property is not the same as a 10-year-old that may carelessly trespass.
What questions would you like me to answer? I addressed your need for an example of Tea Party violence. I did not address the issue of union violence on Tea Party members because I don't watch Faux News and am aware of none. Shouting matches, yes; physical violence, no. If union members initiated any physical violence, then they were wrong to do so. And I have publicly admitted that I could not have been more wrong about President Obama. He has been the ultimate Trojan Horse.
You say President Obama and I are Progressives. Barack Obama is no Progressive. A Progressive would not bomb the hell out of one country under the pretext of protecting innocent civilians, while bombing the hell out of innocent civilians in Afghanistan and Pakistan and referring to them as collateral damage for justification. A Progressive would not roll over on his supporters and sign such a worthless healthcare bill. A Progressive would not passively sign a tax cut for billionaires, which adds nearly $1 trillion to the debt, without putting up a fight. A Progressive would not continue this free trade nonsense. A Progressive would have stood up strongly for the workers in Wisconsin instead of offering up the tepid, mealy mouthed response that came from his lying lips. Dennis Kucinich, Ralph Nader, and Bernie Sanders are Progressives. Barack Obama is not. In fact, I'm not sure what he is. He's certainly no Democrat either. Perhaps the state Democrats that are fighting for working people are the only true Democrats left.
I also don't understand your reference to crickets as being silent creatures. Perhaps you have mute crickets where you live. Here in Etna Green, the crickets make noise.
Oh yeah, and the Constitution. While the document allows citizens the right to petition their government, it does not say that politicians can be bought and sold to the highest bidder. Until all lobbyists are driven from Washington and we have publicly funded elections, the Constitution isn't worth the paper it's written on.
