Minor Injuries In Four-Vehicle Accident At Lake City Highway, Commerce Drive

A four-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Lake City Highway and Commerce Drive Wednesday evening with two drivers reporting minor injuries.
The accident occurred at 4:48 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Warsaw Police Department report.
Driver Ryan W. Faulkner, 30, of 1704 Walnut St., Warsaw, was westbound on Lake City Highway. He looked away from the road, and when he looked back up traffic had stopped at the traffic light, the report states.
Faulkner tried to stop, but was unable to in time. Faulkner’s vehicle then ran into the back of a vehicle driven by Robert Watson, 42, of 9 M Dee Acres, Nappanee.
Faulkner reported being sore, but refused medical treatment at the scene.
According to the report, Watson said he was stopped at the light waiting for it to change when he heard squealing and was hit in the rear by Faulkner.
Watson’s vehicle was pushed into the third vehicle, driven by Austin Wagner, 28, of 119 Windsor Drive, Churubusco.
Watson complained of neck pain and was checked out by EMS at the scene.
Wagner said he was pushed into the fourth vehicle, driven by Tammy M. Concliff, 36, of 16335 S. Ind. 19, Akron.
Wagner said he was not injured and refused EMS.
Concliff reported being sore and had neck pain, but refused EMS at the scene.
WPD estimated the damage at $25,000 to $50,000.[[In-content Ad]]
