She was born March 10, 1917, near Etna in Whitley County, to Edgar and Minnie Smith.
On Dec. 31, 1941, she married Tom Miner and they lived most of their married life in Etna Green. He died June 18, 1992. She now resides with her daughter south of Atwood.
She is a faithful member of Etna Green United Methodist Church.
She has a son, Wayne (and spouse Serita), Goshen; a daughter, Donna (and spouse Joe) Kintzel, near Atwood; three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
