Don and Annetta "Nettie" Millington, 607 N. Main St., Bourbon, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 19, 2010.

Don and the former Annetta June Williams were married June 19, 1960, at Grace College Chapel, McClain Hall, Winona Lake, by the Rev. Nathan Myers.

Now retired, the couple met while attending Grace College. She worked for Lucy E. Upson, attorney, and he worked for his father at Millington Brothers Welding & Excavating, Warsaw. In 1971, the couple moved their family to Wheaton, Ill. In 1992, the couple returned to Indiana and currently reside in Bourbon. Since retirement, they are looking forward to downsizing with Don working on a model railroad layout while "Nettie" hopes to spend more time reading and working in the flower and vegetable gardens.

They have three children: Daniel Millington, Warsaw; Randall (and spouse Susan) Millington, St. Charles, Ill.; and Cheryl (James Jr.) Myers, Nappanee; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

An open house was June 19 at Atwood Christian Fellowship, where they are members.[[In-content Ad]]
