Kerry Miller, Bourbon, and Hal and Zulema Shafer, Tippecanoe, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lena Nichole Miller, Bourbon, to Jeffrey Tate Chapman, Bourbon. He is the son of Mike and Sallie Chapman, Bourbon.

The bride-to-be is a case manager at the Marshall County Department of Child Services, Plymouth. She is a 2003 graduate of Triton High School, Bourbon, and a 2007 graduate of Indiana University, South Bend, with a bachelor's degree in sociology.

The groom-elect is employed in the sales department at Hahn Systems, Elkhart. He is a 2003 graduate of Triton High School, Bourbon. He earned an associate's degree in business from Indiana University, South Bend. He also serves as a volunteer fireman on the Bourbon Fire Department.
