Three people are in custody this morning in connection with the investigation of a missing Milford woman now believed to be a victim of murder.

Kathy Vroman, 48, of 105 N. Maple St., Milford, was last seen in Milford on Jan. 15 and was subsequently reported by her husband as missing.

Law enforcement officials said it was determined Wednesday night that the investigation had become one of murder.

Jason Michael Fisher, 22, of Millersburg, and Ralph Freddrick Fisher, 46, of Goshen, are both preliminarily charged with murder and were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail this morning. The Fishers are father and son, officials said.

Also arrested in connection with this case was George W. Aldrich, 28, of 9492-A Ind. 19N, Etna Green. He is charged with theft.

All three men are being held without bond.

Kosciusko County Prosecutor Chuck Waggoner provided a press release indicating that the investigation remains ongoing among several police agencies, including the Milford Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police and several out-of-state police departments.

Unofficial information regarding Vroman's disappearance suggests that she was shot in Kosciusko County and that her body - which has not yet been recovered - was left at an unknown location in Michigan. The van Vroman was driving when she was reported missing was said to have been located in an adjacent county.

Vroman was working at Country Car Co. on South Higbee Street in Milford and was driving a van with a dealer license plate from that business when she was last seen. She and her husband moved to Milford about two weeks ago from the Goshen/Elkhart area. The couple came to Indiana from New York in August.

Anyone with information about this matter is asked to contact the Kosciusko County Central Dispatch Center at 267-5667. [[In-content Ad]]
