SYRACUSE – Mildred Laverne Schanlaub, 81, of Warsaw, died Oct. 26, 2011, in her residence.

She was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Covington, to Harry and Mildred Louise Grady Auter. On Dec. 5, 1953, she married Donald Schanlaub, who survives.

She was a cook for many years in the Griffith High School cafeteria.

Also surviving are a son, Dennis (and spouse Christie) Schanlaub, Syracuse; twin grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.

No services are planned.

Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
