MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - Michael Carroll Warren, 67, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and formerly of this area, died June 11, 2010, in his residence.

He was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Rockford, Ill., to Dr. Carroll Bradford and Dorothy Pauline Johnson Warren. His wife of 43 years, Diana Long Warren, survives.

He retired from the insurance industry as claims manager. He graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, and was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.

Also surviving are two daughters, Michelle Diane "Shelly" Warren, Breckinridge, Colo., and Melinda Jean "Mindy" Warren (and spouse Andrew) Sturm, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy (and spouse Richard) McNary, Westerville, Ohio, and Pat (and spouse Mark) Howarth, Fort Myers, Fla.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at J. Henry Stuhn Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
