Michael Andrew Norton, 60, Claypool, passed away at 1:30 a.m.  July 17, 2015, in his residence.
He was born Feb. 6, 1955, in Warsaw, to Gene and Norma Blue Norton. On Sept. 8, 1973, in Mentone, he married Laura L. Waddle, who survives in Claypool.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where he was a 1973 graduate of Mentone High School. He was a truck driver all of his life, working for the last 10 years as a truck driver for Pike Lumber in Akron. He had to retire in 2012 due to ill health.
He was a member of Warsaw Family Worship Center, loved music, playing the guitar, and he loved to fish.  Most of all he loved his family and grandbabies.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Amy (and spouse John) Weist, Mentone, and Angela (and spouse Mark) Conley, Claypool; six grandchildren: Gabriel, Andrew, Lillian, Lance, Prestton and Paige; two brothers, Charles Norton, Lake Placid, Fla.; and Steven (and spouse Tamra) Norton Mentone; a stepbrother, John (and spouse Crystal) Weida, Akron; two sisters, Susan (and spouse John) VanCuren, Mentone, and Glenna (and spouse Dennis) Blue, Warsaw; and his stepsister, Joanne (and spouse Wayne) Hansen, Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Ann Marie Norton in 1974.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor William Whitaker officiating. A graveside service will follow at Mentone Cemetery.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
