Meth Dealer Busted

SYRACUSE - Syracuse Police Department, along with the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force, arrested a Pierceton man Thursday afternoon for dealing and manufacturing methamphetamine.

Walter A. Vitalone, 44, of 9270 E. Adams Road, Pierceton, was arrested at 700 W. Brooklyn St. Apt 3, Syracuse, for selling and manufacturing methamphetamines.[[In-content Ad]]During an investigation, an active methamphetamine lab was discovered inside the apartment.

The investigation began after tips were received by SPD of illegal narcotics being sold from the Brooklyn Street address. Undercover purchases from Vitalone by police were made over several days.

Vitalone was booked into Kosciusko County Jail, where he was arrested for dealing and manufacturing methamphetamine.

He is being held on a $100,000 bond.

Also during the investigation, officers discovered items that were reported stolen in Warsaw. Those items were in the possession of Amber Rose Booher, 22, of 6838 E. CR 600N, North Webster.

Booher was booked into KCJ on a charge of theft and was held on $2,000 bond.
