By Staff Report-

Chosen People Ministires representative Olivier Melnick will minister at Community Bible Church, 2947 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, at 6 p.m. Sunday.

He will bring a message on Israel from a biblical, as well as current, perspective.

Melnick was raised in a secular Jewish family in Paris. After reading a book on prophecy, he began a search that led him to belief in Jesus as his Messiah.

Olivier met his future wife, Ellen, in France. He has a bachelor’s degree in Jewish studies from The Moody Bible Institute and is a bold evangelist. His passion is to see Jewish people throughout the world receive Jesus as their promised Messiah and to train others to share the Gospel with them.

In 2007, after seven years of research and writing, Olivier published his first book “They Have Conspired Against You; Responding to the New Anti-Semitism”.

He and Ellen and their two children, J.D. and Claire, live in Southern California.

Chosen People Ministries is a more than 100-year-old mission that was founded in 1894 by Leopold Cohn, a Hungairan rabbi who came to believe that Jesus was the Messiah of Israel. From humble beginnings in Brooklyn, N.Y., Chosen People Ministries has grown into a worldwide ministry with outreach centers in Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Israel, Mexico, Ukraine and the United States.

Throughout its long history, Chosen People Ministries has been unwavering in its commitment to bring the Gospel message of salvation in Jesus “to the Jew first and to the Gentile” throughout the word. In stressing the Jewish roots of Christian faith, Chosen People Ministries hopes to make the message of the Messiah more accessible to Jewish people and also to help Chrisian believers achieve a greater appreciation of the Jewish basis of their own faith traditions.

The meeting is open to the public.
