Don and Helene McNulty, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura McNulty, Warsaw, to Jeremy Nelsen, Springfield, Ill. He is the son of Jeff and Patricia Nelsen, Springfield.

The bride-to-be graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2007, and will graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University in December 2010.

The groom-elect is a photographer and owns Jer Nelsen Photography, Winona Lake. He graduated from Springfield Southeast High School in 2005, and earned a bachelor's degree in photography from Indiana Wesleyan University in April 2009.

The couple plan a May 8, 2010, wedding.
