Larry and Kay McDonald, Milford, and formerly of Hoffman Lake, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 18, 2009. Larry and the former Kay Hodges were married Oct. 18, 1959, at First Methodist Church, Bourbon, by the Rev. J. Ross Richey officiating.

He is retired from NIPSCO after 34 years. She is a former hair dresser in Bourbon.

They have two children, Bret (and spouse Cindy) McDonald, Milford, and Beth Ann (and spouse David) Hearn, Jonesborough, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.

Their children have planned a family week in Orlando, Fla., in January.
