Alisan Rose May and Rory Devin Jewell were married Oct. 4, 2008, at Nappanee United Methodist Church with Pastor Lynn Breeden officiating. The bride is the daughter of James and Luanne May, Warsaw; the groom's parents are John and Rhonda Jewell, Akron.

Maid of honor was Shelby May, West Lafayette. Matron of honor was Lorie Miller, Fort Wayne. Bridesmaids Chaitra Jewell, Akron; Angie Jarrett, Pierceton; and Megan Burns, Warsaw. Flower girl was Lorin Miller, Fort Wayne.

Best man was Aaron Cox, Fort Wayne. Groomsmen were Justin Perry, Silver Lake; Derek See, Indianapolis; and Eric Dullighan and Brad Miller, both of Fort Wayne. Ushers were Ryan Dullighan and Peter Lock, both of Fort Wayne. Ring bearer was Lane Miller, Fort Wayne.

A reception was held at Amish Acres, Nappanee.

The bride is a landscape designer at Lawn & Turf Landscaping, Fort Wayne. She is a 2000 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron. She received a degree in landscape and horticulture from Purdue University in 2004.

The groom is a help desk technician at the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne. He is a 2000 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron. He received an associate's degree in electronics engineering from ITT Technical Institute in 2002, and a currently is studying for bachelor's degree in business information systems from Indiana Wesleyan University.

After a weeklong wedding trip to Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Fort Wayne.[[In-content Ad]]
