Maxine L. Miller, 92, died at 11:05 p.m. June 20, 2011, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.    
     
She was born May 13, 1919, in Atwood, to Boyd and Emma Smith Leedy. On Nov. 19, 1948, in Huntington, she married Theodore "Ted" Miller, who died Oct. 4, 1993.

Living most of her life in the Huntington area, she was manager of operators for Bell Telephone,  Huntington, for 32 years, retiring in 1978. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, a former member of Kappa Sigma Tau Sorority and the Altruist Club and a charter member of American Business Women Association and Amphicytion Society.

Surviving are a brother, Alton (and spouse Sue) Leedy, Coolidge, Ariz.; a sister, Doris (and spouse Mike) Rheam, Chandler, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Devoe and Earl Leedy, and a sister,  Mary Hand.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Marti Ludy of Evangelical United Methodist Church, Huntington. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
