SYRACUSE - Maxine Graham, 95, of Syracuse, died at 6:25 p.m. April 28, 2007, at The Maples Nursing Home, Goshen.

She was born Sept. 20, 1911, in Hendricks County, to Enos M. and Dovie L. Cooper Hutchens. On July 28, 1935, in Plainfield, she married Lawrence William Graham, who died in 1981.

She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1929. She was a real estate agent and worked in the insurance industry before moving to Syracuse from Plainfield in 1981. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and Ladies of the Round Table, both in Syracuse, and Tri Kappa Sorority, Plainfield. She was a former member and attended Plainfield United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Nelson, Syracuse; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two step-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Plainfield United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, and two hours prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
