She was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Valparaiso, to Chester Charles and Luella Christian Sykes. In August 1939, she married Vernon Goddard, who died in 1952. In 1953, in Plymouth, she married Earl E. Gall, who died in August 1982.
She was a production worker at Lyle Electric for 22 years, retiring in 1982. Moving to Leesburg from Plymouth in 1952, she lived in Grace Village for the past two years.
Surviving are a daughter, Janet (and spouse Paul Abercrombie) Bell, Winona Lake; a son, James A. (and spouse Margaret) Goddard, Leesburg; two grandsons, David (and spouse Patty) Goddard, Pierceton, and Kevin Bell, Winona Lake; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and two brothers, Richard and Robert Morris, both of Rochester. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Goddard, and two brothers, Donald and Dale "Bing" Morris.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Glenn Byers officiating. A graveside service will be at the chapel of Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
