Max Hudson Mollenhour, 88, of 628 E. Lakewood Ave., Warsaw, died at 11:19 a.m. March 14, 2009, in Gulf Coast Hospital, Fort Myers, Fla.

He was born Sept. 18, 1920, in Warsaw, to William K. Sr. and Lucille Hudson Mollenhour. On Feb. 1, 1941, he married Mary Helen Brown, who survives. They were married for 68 years.

He worked at Free Methodist Publishing House for 31 years and managed Warsaw Printing until his retirement in 1986. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge and YMCA, and a member of Rozella Ford Golf Club and Moose Lodge, both in Warsaw.

Also surviving are two daughters, Suzanne (and spouse Ed) Huffer, Warsaw, and Janet (and spouse David) Kelley, Spencerville; nine grandchildren: Melanie (and spouse Chad) Wilhite and Beth (and spouse Chris) Cummins, all of Warsaw; Kelly (and spouse Earle) Hanlin, Leesburg; Christopher (and spouse Marie) Kelley, Leo; Greg Kelley, Oakland, Calif.; Jody (and spouse Erik) Linnemeier, Franklin; James (and spouse Julie) Kelley, Grabill; Megan (and spouse Tony) Reynolds, Fort Wayne; and Lindsey Kelley, Spencerville; 18 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers, William K. Mollenhour Jr. and Donald Jack Mollenhour.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Ken Mollenhour officiating.

Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
