Max E. Holderman, 85, of Warsaw, died at 4 p.m. Dec. 30, 2011, in his residence.

He was born Oct. 17, 1926, in Warsaw, to Roy and Mary Ethel Gragg Holderman. On April 9, 1950, in Warsaw, he married Helen B. Thomas, who survives.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, he was a polisher at Zimmer 35 years,  retiring in 1991. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia (and spouse Les) Kleinrichert, Mt. Vernon, Ohio; two grandchildren,  Gail Kleinrichert, Columbus, Ohio, Kevin (and spouse Christine) Kleinrichert, Grand Rapids, Ohio; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Kleinrichert, at home; a brother, Stanley (and spouse Aleta) Holderman, Warsaw; and a sister, Imogene (and spouse Howard) Hawkins, Clinton, Tenn. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Maxine Haney, Betty Clingenpeel and infant Shirley Holderman.    

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
