NORTH MANCHESTER – Max E. Gray, 75, of Wabash, died at 12:10 a.m. July 8, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wabash.

He was born July 24, 1936, in Huntington County, to Eugene and Edith Castator Gray. On June 29, 1968, he married Ceolia W. Carrouthers, who survives. He graduated from Laketon High School in 1954.

He retired from GenCorp, Wabash, in 1998, after 43 years. He attended Lincolnville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, R. Scott (and spouse Sheila) Gray, Mexico, Ind.; a daughter, Alice (and spouse Charles) Harrington, Angleton, Texas; five sisters: Winnifred Keefer, Calera, Okla.; Janet Tuvell, Syracuse; Joyce DeWitt and Betty Irland, both of Pelion, S.C.; and June Hubburd, Ozark, Ala.; a grandchild; two step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

No services or calling are planned.
