NORTH MANCHESTER – Maurice C. Warner, 82, of Pierceton, died at 2:34 a.m. June 6, 2013, in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born March 29, 1931, in Kosciusko County, to Walter and Agnes Hardman Warner. On June 9, 1957, he married Janyth D. Rooney, who survives.
He was a lifetime Sidney area resident. He was a retired farmer, a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1952-53 and in the Korean War, and a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are two sons, Leon (and spouse Jennifer) Warner, Warsaw, and Lowell Warner, Indianapolis; two daughters, Judy Warner, Markleville, and Joyce (and spouse Rodger) Evans, Bluffton; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Jack W. Worth officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester,
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
