Matthew James Wadkins, 32, of Warsaw, died Feb. 23, 2012, in Knoxville, Tenn.

He was born April 13, 1979, in Wabash County, to Jerry and Savanah Howard Wadkins, who survive.

A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he was a 1998 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and attended Full Gospel Tabernacle, Claypool. He formerly worked as a cabinet maker at Superior Wood Products, Warsaw.

Surviving are two sons, Matthew Jr. and Jordon Wadkins; his mother and stepfather, Savanah and Daniel Ryan, Warsaw; his father and stepmother, Jerry and  Regina Wadkins, Kimmel; five brothers: Jeremy Isaacs,   Worchester, Mass.; Joshua Remfrey, Waterloo; Matthew Isaacs, Chicago, Ill.; Daniel Wadkins, Warsaw; and Tony Blake, Fort Wayne; a sister, Cassandra Wadkins, Warsaw; a grandmother, Alma Wadkins, Palestine; and step-grandparents, Sam and Kathey Remfrey, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers and a grandmother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Charles Trout officiating.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
