Mary Louise Young, 78, of Warsaw, died at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 29, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Warsaw, to Delmar C. and Wanda Tompkins Evans. On Jan. 10, 1952, in Warsaw, she married Ray Junior Young, who died July 11, 1963.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, she was a homemaker and was a member of First Christian Church, Retired Tigers Bible Study Group and Keeping On Extension Club, all in Warsaw. She volunteered for Real Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw

Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen "Kathie" (and spouse Jack) Edington, Elkhart; three sons: Robert Young, Plymouth; Teddy Young, Mishawaka; and James (and spouse Connie) Young, Huntingburg; two grandchildren, Jason Raymond, Elkhart, and Betina Raymond, Bay City, Mich.; and two sisters, Juanita Osbun, Warsaw, and Joan Havlin, Knox. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Earl C. Evans, who died May 13, 2002; Samuel H. Evans, who died Nov. 6, 1979; the Rev. Larry Evans, who died June 24, 2005; and infant Norman Evans, who died in 1929.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.

Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
