Mary Louise Abell, 89, of Warsaw, died at 11:30 p.m. June 24, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born July 26, 1922, in Warsaw, to Lawrence and Naomi Miner Yeiter. On Oct. 18, 1939, she married V. Ray Abell, who died Oct. 18, 1982.

She was the co-owner of Abell’s TV & Antennas and retired in 1982. She was the member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood; the Order of the Eastern Star, Bourbon; and the ONO, Etna Green. She was a professional quilter and crafter and loved to care for her truck patch garden. She enjoyed cooking, baking and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her two daughters, Shirley Walgumuth, Leesburg, and Jackie (and spouse Gary) Harvey, Gold Canyon, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Sue Abell, Centerville, Va.; a brother, Don (and his spouse Phyllis) Yeiter, Milford; two sisters, Doris (and spouse J.L.) Ball, Kalamazoo, Mich., and Carol (and spouse Ken) Branden, Etna Green; seven grandchildren: Tammy, Kimberly and Allison Abell, Jennifer (and Steve Smith) Abell, Angela (and spouse Chris) Johnson, Jason (and spouse Colleen) Harvey, and Tracy (and spouse Craig) Williams; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also was preceeded in death by her parents; two sons, William and Terry Abell; and a brother, Lewis Yeiter.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jerry Thomas and Chaplain Doug West officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.

Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
