She was born March 17, 1922, in Grant County, to Ivan R. and Olive R. Shugart Fields. On June 28, 1946, in Grant County, she married John A. Bundy, who died in 1999.
She moved to Warsaw from Gas City in 1982, and spent winters in Edinburg, Texas. She formerly worked at Marion Veterans Administration Hospital, retiring in 1982. She attended Warsaw Community Church and Packerton United Methodist Church. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1940.
Surviving are a son, John I. Bundy, Anderson; a daughter, Mary Olive Christie, Warsaw; a sister, Joan Mounts, Gas City; six grandchildren: Aaron Bundy, Indianapolis; Sarah Kinder and Nathaniel Christie, both of Warsaw; Aaric Bundy and Brock Bundy, both of Anderson; and Allison Christie, Mishawaka; and four great-grandchildren: Dylan and Kimberly Kinder, both of Warsaw; and Max and Ava Bundy, Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw, with Pastor E.J. Underwood officiating. Burial will be at noon Tuesday in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown.
Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
