NORTH MANCHESTER - Mary Isabelle Carey, 80, of Venice, Fla., and formerly of North Manchester, died at 9:10 a.m. Dec. 9, 2007, in Aston Bella Vita, Venice, Fla.

She was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Linton, to William Monroe and Mary Belle Wakeland Snow. In September 1976, she married William J. Carey, who died April 9, 2006.

She was assistant vice president and branch manager at the former Indiana Lawrence Bank, North Manchester, retiring in 1989, after 31 years of service. She was a member of Collamer Christian Church.

Surviving are a son, James Arley (and spouse Sally) Beck, The Villages, Fla.; a daughter, Jamie Gail (and spouse Brian), Kinner, Claypool; a brother, James O. Snow, Linton; a sister, Margaret (and spouse John) Priest, Linton; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Collamer Christian Church with Pastor David Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.

Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
