She was born April 19, 1923, in Kosciusko County, to Merl and Mary Viola Helse Brown. On Feb. 1, 1941, she married Max Hudson Mollenhour, her husband of 68 years, who passed away March 14, 2009.
She retired after 38 years of service from the Free Methodist Publishing House. She wintered in Fort Myers, Fla., and spent her summers residing on Winona Lake. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Elks Lodge, American Legion and Moose Lodge in Warsaw.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Suzanne (and spouse Ed) Huffer, Warsaw, and Janet (and spouse David) Kelley, Spencerville; nine grandchildren: Melanie (and spouse Chad) Wilhite, Kelly (and spouse Scott) Shipley and Beth (and spouse husband Chris) Cummins, all of Warsaw; Christopher (and spouse Marie) Kelley, Jody (and spouse Erik) Linnemeier, James (and spouse Erin) Kelley and Lindsey (and spouse Nik) Kohlmeier, all of Fort Wayne; Greg (and spouse Tony) Kelley, Martinez, Calif.; and Megan (and spouse Tony) Reynolds, Leo; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer, Warsaw Community Church, officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
