Mary Helen Huffman, 78, passed away at 2:40 a.m. March 23, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Canton, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 12, 1937, in Warsaw, to Gerald H. and Mabel Neyhardt Longenecker. On June 28, 1963, in Rochester, she married Charles R. Huffman Sr., who preceded her in death June 4, 1984.
She moved from the Clunette area to Canton, Ohio, in 1980. She was a 1955 graduate of Atwood High School and worked as a secretary for Clunette Grain Elevator for 23 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Jehovah Witness – North Congregation, Canton.
Surviving are two daughters, Stephanie (and Beau) Baldwin and Jessica (and David) Ciccarelli, all of Canton; a son, Charles Huffman Jr., Panama City, Fla.; three grandchildren: Madison Ciccarelli, Isabella Ciccarelli and Stacy Clark; and two brothers, Michael (and Brenda) Longenecker, Warsaw, and Mark (and Diana) Longenecker, Grand Rapids, Minn. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald H. Longenecker, who died in March 1974; mother, Mabel Longenecker, who died in May 1991; three brothers: Gerald W. Longenecker, who died in September 1950; Phillip J. Longenecker, who died in July 1956; David L. Longenecker, who died in March 2007; and two sisters-in-law, Phyllis J. Longenecker, who died in February 2008, and Margaret Longenecker, who died in November 2008.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Oswego Cemetery, Oswego.
Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
