NORTH WEBSTER – Mary B. Kauke, 93, Milford, and formerly of North Webster, passed away at 10:35 p.m. May 24, 2015, at Lakeland Healthcare and Rehab, Milford.
She was born July 4, 1921, in Indianapolis, to George and Henrietta Husser Selig. On Jan. 2, 1943, in Vancouver, Wash., she married William George Kauke, who preceded her in death April 24, 1947.
She attended public schools in Chicago. She retired as a retail and sales clerk with the Greyhound Post House in Chicago after 17 years of service. She moved from Chicago to North Webster in 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Billie (and spouse Tom) Lavin, North Webster; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, William G. Kauke II; and sister, Ruth Hostler.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, with Pastor Myron Drent of Country Bible Church, North Webster, officiating.
Cremation will follow at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
Calling is from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
