COLUMBIA CITY - Martin Keith Ousley, 46, of Columbia City, died at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 2, 2010, in his residence. He was in failing health since April 2001.

He was born Aug. 17, 1963, in Columbia City, to Claude and Vonda E. Tillman Ousley. On Aug. 18, 1990, he married Teresa R. Dillander, who survives.

At the age of 5, his family moved to Union Township, Whitley County, from Pierceton. He graduated from Columbia City Joint High School, Olivet Nazarene College and Indiana State University, majoring in geology. He lived in Clarksville until 1995, when he moved to Arnold, Mo. In the summer of 2005, he moved to Columbia City. He worked at Defense Mapping Agency, Louisville, Ky., until 1993; the U.S. Postal Service, Louisville, from 1993-94; and retired in 2005 from National Geo-Spacial Agency with 10 years of service. He was a member of New Hope Wesleyan Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Ryan Ousley and Adam Ousley, both at home; his parents, Claude and Vonda Ousley, Columbia City; and three sisters, Janie (and Curt) Salisbury, Prestonsburg Ky., and Brenda (and spouse Rick) Reynolds and Teri (and spouse Chad) Fields, all of Columbia City.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at New Hope Wesleyan Church, Columbia City.
