James Marsh will celebrate his 85th birthday May 3, 2012. An open house will be May 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at his residence in Clunette. He was born to Russel and Hazel Marsh of Atwood, the third of four children. He graduated from Atwood High School in 1945. In 1949, he married Jeanette Klopenstine. He is a member of Atwood Aldersgate Church and sings in the choir. He is a past member of the Atwood Fire Department and Atwood Lions Club. He spends his time farming and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He has two daughers, Linda Olinger, Warsaw, and Sandy (and spouse Bruce) Ferguson, Clunette; and three grandchildren. He requests no gifts. Just the presence of friends and neighbors.
