SYRACUSE - Marjorie Faye Rogers, 83, of Syracuse, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 30, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital.

She was born Jan. 3, 1924, in McCordsville, Ind., to Rev. W.O. Power and Ethel Kennedy Power. On Sept. 19, 1942, she married Edwin F. (Ted) Rogers, who survives.

From 1946 to 1971, she was a partner of Rogers Radio and TV, Huntington. In 1971, she and her husband started Rogers Electro-Matics where she was secretary/treasurer until they sold the business and retired in 1993. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a 1943 graduate of Ridgeville High School.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tony (Carolyn) Johnson, Minneapolis, Minn; two grandchildren, Mrs. Doug (Marni) Nagy, Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; and Ronald Johnson, San Jose, Calif; a great-grandchild, Allison Nagy, Trabuco Calif. and a sister, Mary Frances Ferguson, Hayfork, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronald Edwin Rogers; a sister, Ethel Mae Franklin; and a brother, Lowell O. Power.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with (grand nephew) the Reverend Michael Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Lawndale Cemetery, Ridgeville.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
