She was born March 10, 1930, in Wabash County, to Edgar J. and Marjorie L. Ogle Baumbauer.
She was a nurse's aide at Wabash County Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1993. She also worked at Merriweather for five years; Woolworths for five years; and Papa Joe's a year and a half, all in Wabash. She was affiliated with Wabash First Church of God and a member of the National Wildlife Association and the National Arbor Day Society.
Surviving are three children: Jorie Lynn (and spouse David) Bickel, Winona Lake; Michael Timothy (and spouse Joann) Coburn, Lake Jackson, Texas; Amy Ruth (and spouse James) Krafcik, Niceville, Fla.; five grandchildren: Robin (and spouse Andy) Britton, Avon; Abby Bickel, Winona Lake; and Hannah, Elizabeth and Caroline Krafcik, all of Niceville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Baumbauer.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
