NAPPANEE - Marie Evelyn Foeckler, 89, died at 5:45 p.m. Feb. 26, 2008, in Hubbard Hill Estates, Elkhart, where she resided.

She was born June 25, 1918, in Wyatt, to Harrison and Viola Beehler Shearer. In 1940, she married Dr. Rex Huff, who died in 1971. On April 27, 1991, she married Theodore C. Foeckler, who died March 6, 2007.

She attended Nappanee United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters; a stepson; a grandson; two stepgrandchildren; a step-great-grandson; a sister; and a brother.

Services will be private at a later date. There will be cremation. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is in charge of arrangements.
