She was born March 22, 1919 in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Charles and Hazel Mundinger, who preceded her in death.
She was known as Aunt Marian to all that knew her over the 48 years in full-time childrens ministry. Marian can say “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.” II Timothy 4:7-8A.
Surviving are a brother, Paul (and spouse Vivian) Mundinger; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Mundinger; nine Mundinger nieces and nephews; and nine step-children. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Mundinger; husbands William Rexford and R.H. Hunt; stepdaughter, Sharon Rexford; and stepson, Richard Watson.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Kent City Baptist Church and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday with a memorial service.
