Maria I. Henderson, 75, Warsaw, died at 9:05 p.m. Aug. 23, 2013, at her residence.

She was a 1957 graduate of Warsaw High School and a graduate of Kokomo Business College. She worked at the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, retiring in 2000 as the Post Master of the Claypool Post Office.

She was an avid reader. She loved planting and caring for a variety of beautiful flowers as her health allowed; but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren who in return loved her very much. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annette Duranso and Cecilia Poats.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor E.J. Underwood, Warsaw Community Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
