Margie Doud Chizum, 94, of Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake, died at 10:46 p.m. Aug. 26, 2009, to Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Aug. 6, 1915, in Fulton County, to Zimry and Della Doud Vanata. On May 5, 1934, in Rochester, she married William Chizum.

She lived in Knox for about 50 years before moving to Warsaw. She was a homemaker and a devoted Christian who attended Warsaw Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Carla (and spouse Don) Reinholt, Warsaw; a son, Larry L. (and spouse Debra) Chizum, Plymouth; six grandchildren: Keith (and spouse Cindy) Reinholt; Scott (and spouse Lisa) Reinholt; Brent (and spouse Tracy) Reinholt; Larry L. Jr. (and spouse Mandy) Chizum; Randy (and spouse Cathy) Chizum; and Eric (and spouse Heather) Chizum; two step-grandchildren, Stephen (and spouse Sally) Frick, and Jennifer (and spouse John) Hatfield; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Paul James officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
