She was born June 10, 1930, in Franklin County, Ohio, to Charles Marcus and Alice Hannah Pester Price. On July 3, 1953, she married Carl Duaine Farra, who died March 27, 2004. They were married 50 years.
She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past nine years where she had been attending Warsaw Community Church. She had worked in the Columbus Kroger Bakery in Columbus, Ohio, retiring in 1992 after 20 years of service. She was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan, loved to work on puzzles, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, John (and spouse Sharon) Farra, Columbus, Ohio; four daughters: Deborah (and spouse Gary) Rhodeback and Sharon (and spouse Joel) Bishop, both of Columbus; Cheryl (and spouse Edd) Habegger, Winona Lake; Cindy Padgett, Williamsburg, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons. She also was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, and officiated by Edd Habegger. Burial is in Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
Local arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
