She was born April 11, 1914, in Effingham, Ill., to George and Anna Overbeck Westendorf. On May 28, 1938, she married William Yohler, who died March 19, 1969.
She retired from the Marion VA Medical Center, where she had worked for 12 years. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where she served in the Rosary Altar Society, the Study Club and had been part of the Bennett School PTA. Recently, she attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. She also had served as a Boy Scout leader.
Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne (and spouse Jack) Shaw, Warsaw; three sons: Michael Yohler, Scottsdale, Ariz.; John Yohler, Indianapolis; and Stephen (and spouse Barbara) Yohler, Verona, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Marion, with the Rev. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will be in Estates Of Serenity, Marion.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, Marion, with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
