Dave and Phyllis Manning, Warsaw, will mark their 60th wedding anniversary April 28, 2008. Dave Manning and Phyllis Silveus were married April 28, 1948, in Crawfordsville, with the Rev. George T. King officiating.

He retired from NIPSCO in 1989 after 38 years, and she worked at Strayer Insurance Agncy and later at Ramsey News Company, retiring in 1989.

The couple have two sons, Steve (and spouse Jerilyn) Manning, Claypool, and Dennis (and spouse Pat) Manning, Warsaw. They have seven grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a short trip.[[In-content Ad]]
