Megan Anne Maness and Jared David Hood were married at 4 p.m. May 30, 2009, at Christ's Covenant Church, Winona Lake, with Roger Peugh officiating. The bride is the daughter of Dave and Mary Maness, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and the groom's parents are Tim and Cathy Hood, Winona Lake.

The reception was at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, Leesburg.

The bride is a project engineer at DePuy Orthopaedics, Warsaw. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant (Mich.) High School in 2001, and earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Case Western Reserve University in May 2006.

The groom is a teacher at Leesburg Elementary School. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2002, and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Grace College in May 2006.

Their wedding trip was to Mayan Riviera, Mexico.
